Service Dog Training Course for Public Access

This course prepares teams to confidently navigate public spaces, demonstrating key skills and knowledge. This 6-session course prepares service dog teams for public access, including 4 classroom sessions and 2 public outings. The course concludes with an interactive knowledge check, Q&As and graduation celebration with certificate of public access given to all attendees who successfully passed.

The course uses positive reinforcement-based training methods, focusing on rewards such as treats, praise, and play to encourage desired behaviors. This approach promotes clear communication between handler and dog, builds trust, and ensures the dog remains motivated and responsive in various public environments.
